I work with companies to build business, 140 characters or more at a time. Over the past 10 years, I’ve written content for startups, tech companies, and other small businesses to drive conversations with their customers and prospects. I’ve done this in one of two ways: by writing content for their blogs, email newsletters, whitepapers, and ebooks, by creating snack-sized content on their various social media accounts that drives traffic back to the company website.
I’m a freelance writer, a connector, and a marketing strategist. I’m one part longer form content creator, one part short form content creator and social media manager, wrapped around a workable strategy that will build your business.
As a writer, I create articles that give people the information they need to start a relationship and build awareness about the companies I work with. I’ve written articles as short as 300 words and ebooks as long as 12 pages, and everywhere in between. The goal of each piece of content marketing is to deepen the relationship and enable the consumer to take the next step in the relationship.
As a connector (some might call this Community or Social Media Management) I showcase and develop the personality of the brand which leads to more people knowing the brand, liking the brand, and trusting the brand, which ultimately creates more business. The relationships I build are built on fun, openness, and honesty. No buying followers. No fake likes. Just fun, open, honest connection with prospects and customers. While being a Community Manager often means managing Twitter accounts, Facebook pages, Instagram profiles and LinkedIn accounts, it’s more than just scheduling posts and hoping for the best. As a marketing strategist, I study the community you could build, create a strategy to help you attract more of that community, and partner with you to keep the community you have and build the community you want, in an open, brand-aligned and trustworthy way.
When I’m not working, I am a foodie and a lover of all things Disney. I use my writing skills to review some of the places I go and have been recognized as a Yelp Elite reviewer for 2017 and 2018, and my Google pictures and reviews have gained over 1 million views. Whenever I can, I go to Walt Disney World to remind me to keep my childlike wonder for the world and to keep my creative juices flowing.
Some of the brands I have worked with include startups and established companies. A few of the companies I’ve worked with include Take Out Tech powered by Grubhub, Nimble, Advisology, BTC Revolutions, Readz, and Nextivity.
